Ingredients: washing soda, baking soda, Pink Lake salt, Niulife certified organic coconut oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, lemon juice, lemongrass essential oil, teatree essential oil.
Use approx one teaspoon per load.
TIP: Don't forget to regularly do a dishwasher clean! This is important when using any type of dishwasher powder or detergent, as it prevents your dishwasher drains from clogging up as residue of dissolved food scraps and grime gets deposited over time. And therefore makes your dishwasher more effective, and your dishwasher powder last longer.
Here's a non-toxic - as well as very simple and effective - dishwasher cleaning method: pour 1 cup of vinegar into a bowl that you place on the bottom/bottom rack of your empty dishwasher (not in the rinse aid compartment). Run a normal cycle, on a relatively warm setting (doesn't work as well with colder water). Remove the bowl once cycle is complete and your dishwasher is ready to use again.
Depending how often you use your dishwasher, you may want to do this vinegar clean once every two to six weeks.
